Samco Sport and Silflex Limited Partners with The City of Wolverhampton College to Provide Performance Silicone Hoses for Honda Civic FN2 student racecar project.
Leading manufacturer of performance silicone hoses, Samco Sport, has announced a new partnership with The City of Wolverhampton College. As part of this partnership, Samco Sport will be providing a full set of coolant and intake hoses for the Honda Civic FN2 Racecar that the College is building.
The collaboration between Samco Sport and The City of Wolverhampton College aims to provide students with hands-on experience in building and maintaining a race car, while also showcasing the quality and performance of Samco Sport’s products.
To kick off the partnership, Callum, Marketing Manager at Samco Sport, recently visited The City of Wolverhampton College to give a presentation about the business and its products. The presentation was well received by both students and lecturers, who were impressed with the range of applications for Samco Sport’s performance silicone hoses and the company’s commitment to quality and innovation.
“We are delighted to be partnering with The City of Wolverhampton College and to have the opportunity to showcase our products to the next generation of automotive enthusiasts,” said Callum. “We believe that this collaboration will provide a valuable learning experience for students, as well as an opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of using high-quality performance silicone hoses in motorsport applications.”
The City of Wolverhampton College is equally excited about the partnership and the benefits it will bring to its students. “We are thrilled to be working with Samco Sport and to be able to offer our students the chance to work with top-of-the-line performance silicone hoses,” said Gavin Higgs, Automotive Lecturer and leader of the Racecar project for the College. “This partnership is a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining a race car, while also learning about the latest innovations in automotive technology.”
We were pleased to have Owen, Driver for Pro Alloys with us at Wolverhampton College earlier this month to launch the partnership and show the students what a fully-fledged racecar looks like. Owen talked to the students about all things racing and how they might be able to get involved with the team.

With a focus on quality, innovation, and hands-on learning, this partnership has the potential to inspire the next generation of automotive engineers and enthusiasts.
