As everyone is all to aware in the automotive world, 2020/21 has been a tough time for events. With travel restrictions, and general covid-19 related red tape meaning most if not all events had to be cancelled last year. The summer of 2021 has seen more and more events open up which has been brilliant. Perhaps the most talked about and hyped static show is gravity show. This year, Jordan and the team worked against all odds and pulled off what we think was the best show this side of SEMA.

Gravity 6

Setting up on Saturday, we were pleased to have @that_bagged_nova on the stand, along with long running #TeamSamco member @scooby_sammy. With the new banner looking great, the merch on show and the cars polished to perfection, Sunday was set to be a good day.

The standard of the builds at Gravity is very high. Check out @mach1_photography for some epic shots of the cars in the show halls.

With some chatting and work done, the Samco Sport crew decided to head on over to the Shred Shed. Organised by our friends from Crewsade and FastR, Shred Shed live action arena was the first of its kind in the UK and boy was it a success. @Nathanblackcomedy was the ringmaster and the battle to end (or start) all battles commenced, with the Crewsade crew of Luke Woodham, Peden Neilsen, Adam Simmons, Tessa Wittock and Al Harris, Taking on the FastR crew comprising of Aims Hill, Martin Richards, Marcus Clare, Jessica Hawkins and Richard Grindrod.

The drivers battled it out in a series of games and challenges to see which crew would come out on top. Drift football, Drift to park, and drift battles were all on the agenda, as well as the “Power Hour” which allowed the public to register to bring a car into the arena and create some smoke and chaos!.

If you’re looking for a show to come to next year, Gravity should be top high on your list!
