Following a strong 2021 season in the VW Cup and Britcar Championship, the Samco Sport backed driver was inundated with opportunities during the off-season.
An impressive showing during an open testing session at the Motorsport Live Show in Silverstone put Olly at the top of the wishlist for multiple team owners.
Samco Sport are pleased to announce our continued support with Olly Turner for 2022, and we are excited to share that Olly will be making the huge step up to the British Endurance Championship.
Piloting a Porsche 911 GT3, Olly is the professional driver in a two-man team from TEAMHARD. Turner’s ambition has always been to race in the endurance category, with WEC and Le Mans being the dream.
Olly Turner: “For me this is an amazing opportunity to gain knowledge of RWD racing, whilst pushing for the BEC title. I can’t wait to get started and develop a good relationship with Team HARD. Racing , it’s an exciting season ahead and I hope to see where it takes us in the future!
