You should all be aware by now that Samco Sport are proud to partner with WeCrewsade for 2021 and beyond. Following the success of 2020, with Crewsade pulling off their first event Essex To Edinburgh it was about time the #Crewsade Mclaren 650s got a new look for 2021.
With a new solid list of sponsors, an updated and improved calendar of events, and a new company HQ, Founder Al Harris and the Crewsade team have been going from strength to strength.
Now based at Rockingham, overlooking the legendary circuit that has hosted the likes of BTCC, Nascar and much more. The perfect home for Europe’s up and coming Automotive Adventure Company.
Let’s get back to the cars. The Mclaren 650s is the cover child of the #Crewsade promotional media and is a long-term loan vehicle provided by headline sponsors Ecig One.
We think you will agree, there are certainly worse cars to be given as a loan. Al, we are jealous!
The likes of UK Drift Legend and #TeamSamco sponsored driver Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni also take the wheel on occasion, so it’s fair to say this McLaren gets driven properly.
With a new set of events, a finalized partner lineup, and a global pandemic coming to an end, the Mclaren was long overdue a visit to the UK’s premier Wrapping company Fleet Livery Solutions.
Bringing together the heritage of Mclaren Automotive, and merging it with an Ecig Vape company may seem a little ‘out there’ but actually, history tells us this has been done before ‘sort of’ with the hugely recognizable partnership between Marlboro and Mclaren.
FLS, with the assistance of Al and the Crewsade team, then set about the task of creating this modern take on an F1 classic.
We know from experience that the team at FLS are masters at what they do. They use only the highest quality 3m materials and in this case, they have used some reflective items to really make the elements pop in the dark.
Also in the #Crewsade garage of promo and partner vehicles is the Toyota Yaris GR. The GR belongs to Crewsade partners Fast R, but it’s been doing the rounds and we currently have a Samco Sport silicone hose kit in development which will go very nicely on 2021’s hottest hot hatch.
Check out the video below with Baggsy and Ian Waddinton giving it the once over.
If the Mclaren 650S isn’t FLASH enough for you, the Ferrari F12 from Crewsade founding partner Alan Price won’t disappoint. Previously sporting a leopard print wrap, it’s recently undergone its own transformation and we love the new simple blue look.
We can’t forget the mighty Crewsade crew van. Housing the media crew on all Crewsade trips and events, this long-wheelbase transit provides a contrast to the supercars and modified weapons that are usually found on the Crewsade trips.
last but certainly not least is the awesome S14. Kitted out with a full air ride system, this drift weapon completes the perfect representation of the types of vehicles that can be expected to be joining the variety of Crewsade trips this year.
Head over to wecrewsade.com to take a look at all the events and get yourself booked on.
See you on the road!
