Samco Sport Supports Kawasaki Racing Team for Round Ten at Motorland Aragon
As official sponsors of the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT), we at Samco Sport are excited to continue supporting the team as they gear up for WorldSBK Round 10 at Motorland Aragon. Both Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani are looking strong and ready to take on the challenges ahead, backed by the high-performance reliability of Samco Sport hoses.
Motorland Aragon: A Test of Skill and Performance
Motorland Aragon is a staple on the WorldSBK calendar, stretching 5.077km, packed with sweeping corners, challenging undulations, and a long back straight. The riders will face extreme conditions, and Alex Lowes, who has previously earned four podium finishes at this circuit, knows what’s required to come out on top.
So far, Alex has secured 11 podiums this season, including two race wins at Phillip Island. He enters this race fourth in the overall standings, with 255 points. The Ninja ZX-10RR, fitted with Samco Sport’s high-quality hoses, will need to deliver top-tier performance across Aragon’s demanding track.
Axel Bassani, new to Kawasaki Racing Team colours, has already tested at Motorland after Magny-Cours. Axel enters the weekend 15th overall with 80 points and is eager to build on his recent experience on the Ninja ZX-10RR, enhanced by Samco Sport’s premium hose kits.

Looking Forward to a Competitive Weekend
Alex Lowes commented:
“I am quite confident at Aragon, except for the last sector with its long straights. I think the reality is that that will not be easy for us. I need to understand what we can achieve there. In Aragon there are places to pass, but you need to be with them to make a pass. From T1 to T11 there is no reason why our bike shouldn’t be really strong, so I have to use these points. Aragon it is a track that I really enjoy and it’s a great track. They have resurfaced it, so it is not going to be easy for tyres. I need to be focused from Friday, get the most out of the weekend, do the best I can and try to fight with some other guys for the podium.”
Axel Bassani added:
“Soon after we have finished at Cremona the next round is in Motorland Aragon and we tested there two weeks ago. The feeling was good with the bike at Motorland and I hope to find similar conditions to the ones we had when we tested there. I think we could have some good races in Aragon but it is important to be able to have a strong Superpole Qualifying session. If we can do that then our overall pace is quite good. If we have that good Superpole then I think we can enjoy it and have a positive race.”
What’s Next for Kawasaki Racing Team?
After the Aragon round, the Kawasaki Racing Team will have a brief pause before the final two rounds in Portugal and Spain. With Samco Sport continuing to power KRT’s performance, we’re confident the team will finish the season strong.
Best of luck to Alex and Axel as they take on the challenges of Motorland Aragon, backed by the high-performance reliability of Samco Sport hoses. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the final races of the WorldSBK season!
