Samco Sport supported SR75 World Team are heading back stateside.

The SR75 World Team will return to the most competitive Supercross series on the planet, the AMA Monster Energy Supercross championship in the USA, with pro-rider Charles Lefrançois. The team is hugely excited to announce that SR75 team rider Lefrançois will compete in 4 of the last 5 championship rounds in Houston, Nashville, Denver and Las Vegas, all on his SR75-prepared Suzuki RM-Z450 race machine.

Charles Lefrançois joined the SR75 World Team for their 2019 season and made his debut in the Arenacross UK championship earlier this year. Charles was crowned the vice champion in the Pro 450 class and help to secure the overall Team Championship win for SR75. Charles has raced once before in the AMA Supercross championship back in 2016 and can’t wait to make his return with the SR75 team.

SR75 World Team Owner, Geoff Walker, commented:

“It’s amazing to be back representing at the highest level in AMA Monster Energy Supercross! It’s fantastic to help Charles to fulfil his dreams to compete out in the USA and we’d like to say a big thanks to Chris Wheeler and Pat Alexander from Suzuki USA and Jeremy Albrecht at the JGR Factory Supercross team for all their help to make this happen, as well as all of our amazing team partners for their ongoing support.”

SR75 Team Rider, Charles Lefrançois, said:

“I’m so excited to have the opportunity to race out in the states again, this is some of the most competitive supercross racing in the world and i’m looking forward to showing what the team and I are capable of achieving. Thank you to Geoff and all of the team partners for making this happen, let’s go racing!”

The dates for the remaining AMA Supercross rounds are as follows:

April 27, 2019 E. Rutherford, NJ MetLife Stadium E. Rutherford, NJ East

We can’t wait to see how they get on and we’re currently trying to persuade Geoff that the team definitely need a Samco rep on board!
