Yamaha WSBK Technical Partnership 2026 16x9

Samco Sport is proud to confirm the renewal of our technical partnership with the Pata Maxus Yamaha WorldSBK Official Team for the 2026 FIM Superbike World Championship season.

As part of the agreement, we will continue supplying the team with our high-performance silicone hose technology, designed to deliver durability, heat resistance and reliability in the extreme conditions of WorldSBK competition.

For 2026, the team will once again campaign the Yamaha YZF-R1 WorldSBK, with Andrea Locatelli and Xavi Vierge forming the rider line-up. Locatelli remains a key force within the Yamaha project, consistently fighting at the front, while Vierge joins the factory squad following four seasons in WorldSBK with Honda HRC. Together, they bring experience, speed and strong podium potential for the season ahead.

Paul Denning, Pata Maxus Yamaha WorldSBK Team Principal said, “The details always make the difference, and Samco’s custom built hoses offer Yamaha additional durability and performance – there is no need for us to consider any other brand.”

Matthew Davies, Marketing Manager at Samco Sport, added “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Pata Maxus Yamaha for 2026. Competing at WorldSBK level demands absolute reliability, and we’re proud that our products play a small but important role in supporting the team’s performance throughout the season. We wish everyone Pata Maxus Yamaha WSBK Team a successful season ahead.”

Our silicone hose systems help manage heat and fluid flow within the R1 WorldSBK package — critical factors when consistency and reliability can define race results.

For riders and teams looking to run the same trusted performance products on their own machines, Race Bike Bitz – a key Samco Sport distributor – is the ideal place to find our full range of premium silicone hose kits and accessories for a wide variety of motorcycles.

We look forward to supporting the team throughout the 2026 campaign and sharing updates as the season unfolds.
