Samco Sport is proud to announce a new sponsorship partnership with Ella Lloyd, ahead of the 2026 season.
The 20-year-old from Pontypridd has experienced a quick rise through the motorsport ranks, starting her journey at the age of 16, progressing through the Ginetta GT Championship by finishing as vice-champion in 2023 before stepping onto the international stage in F1 Academy™. Lloyd impressed in her rookie season with a series of strong performances that underlined her potential as one of Britain’s most exciting young drivers. As a member of the McLaren Driver Development Programme, she continues to develop within one of motorsport’s most respected talent pathways.
The partnership with Samco Sport carries a genuine local significance. Ella is based in Pontypridd, South Wales, located just a few miles from the Samco Sport manufacturing facility. That proximity creates a natural alignment between two performance-driven names with strong roots in the same community.
As part of the collaboration, Ella has already visited the Samco Sport factory to see first-hand how the company’s high-performance silicone hoses are designed, manufactured and distributed worldwide. The partnership will not only support her 2026 campaign but will also showcase the shared values of precision engineering, resilience and continuous improvement that connect both grassroots motorsport and the global stage.
Ella said, “It’s amazing to be partnering with Samco Sport. To be affiliated with a local Welsh brand that works at the highest levels of motorsport and a really strong reputation is really inspiring and I can’t thank Samco Sport enough for their support this season.”
Matthew Davies, Marketing Manager at Samco Sport, added, “Supporting Ella is something we’re genuinely proud of. She’s worked incredibly hard to reach this stage in her career, and with 2026 shaping up to be a title-contending season, it’s an exciting time to be involved. The fact that she’s local to our facility makes the partnership even more meaningful. It’s about backing top-level talent from our own community and following that journey all the way.”
As Ella prepares for a crucial 2026 season, Samco Sport looks forward to supporting Ella in her journey, from South Wales to the international stage.
