Samco Sport is pleased to confirm the continuation of its
technical partnership with 3 Flo MX Squadron for the 2026 motocross season,
strengthening a collaboration built on shared values of performance,
development and professionalism within youth motorsport.
Founded in 2023 by former British and World Championship
motocross racer Jeff Perrett, the team are building a clear philosophy to
develop promising British youth motocross talent while preparing young athletes
for the demands of professional racing on and off the bike.
The team is officially supported by Yamaha Motor UK as its
UK motocross team and plays a key role in representing Yamaha’s global bLU cRU
programme, which focuses on nurturing the next generation of amateur and youth
riders. Additional support comes from Crescent Motorcycles, Yamaha UK’s largest
and most successful dealership, and Madison.co.uk, providing hardware
components and motocross clothing.
For the 2026 season, 3 Flo MX Squadron will expand its
athlete programme, building on the success of its current roster of four
aspiring youth riders, Ollie Bubb, Lucas Moncrieff, Jamie Currie and Tommy Wood
by adding a fifth member of the team in Preston Chorley who will represent the
team in the small wheeled 85cc class. The team will compete across a demanding
calendar that includes the Motul MXGB British Motocross Championship, MXGB
Youth British Motocross Championship, Arenacross World Tour, and selected
rounds of the 125cc and 65cc European Motocross Championships.
Motocross remains one of the most physically demanding and
spectacular forms of motorsport, combining high-intensity racing, technical
skill and extreme athleticism. With its accessibility and global fanbase, the
sport continues to inspire riders of all ages – a key factor in Samco Sport’s
decision to remain involved at grassroots and youth level.
As Technical Partner, Samco Sport will continue to support
the team with its world-leading performance silicone hose technology,
reinforcing the importance of reliability, durability and engineering
excellence in high-stress racing environments.
Matthew Davies, Marketing Manager at Samco Sport, said “We’re
proud to continue our technical partnership with 3 Flo MX Squadron into 2026.
What Jeff and the team are building goes far beyond simply going racing — it’s
about developing young athletes the right way, in an environment that’s
professional, supportive and inspiring. That philosophy aligns perfectly with
Samco Sport, and we’re excited to play our part in supporting the next
generation of British motocross talent.”
Team Manager Jeff Perrett said, “I’d like to thank Samco for their continued
support” says Jeff, 3 Flo MX Squadron team manager and owner. “I’ve had a long
standing working relationship with Samco, before I started the 3 Flo team along
with Yamaha UK, Madison and Crescent. When I approached Samco about supporting
the team they jumped on board with enthusiasm right from the get go and no only
was that appreciated by me and the team it was also reassuring that they have
the confidence in us to represent the Samco brand to a professional standard.
Talking of standards, it’s fantastic for us to align with the best in the
business when it comes to radiator hoses and for us to know that all of our
riders go to the start line with the most durable, high quality hoses on the
market.”
The 2026 season marks another important step in the
partnership, as Samco Sport continues its commitment to supporting motorsport
at every level, from world championships to grassroots development.
