Samco Sport is excited to celebrate the unveiling of Steve “Baggsy” Biagioni’s incredible new Toyota GR Corolla, a project that is set to make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, this weekend.

Baggsy has been part of the Samco Sport family since 2016, and over the years we’ve had the privilege of supporting countless standout projects, from drift cars and demo builds to major international events. His creativity and commitment to pushing boundaries have consistently made him one of the most exciting figures in the scene.

His latest creation may have started life as a GR Corolla, but it has evolved into something far more extreme. Built by SB Motorsport, the car has been transformed into a full competition-spec drift machine powered by a legendary Toyota 2JZ package producing more than 1,000 horsepower.

“Pulling the covers off this GR Corolla drift car is a moment I’ve been waiting a long time for,” said Baggsy.

“What you see today is the result of countless late nights, relentless problem-solving, and our team’s obsession with getting every last detail exactly right.

“The GR Corolla gave us an outstanding platform to start with, and the addition of the legendary 2JZ engine package has transformed it into a fire-breathing machine that’s ready to make some serious noise at Goodwood.”

The project brings together a huge number of respected names from across the performance and motorsport industry, resulting in a car designed specifically to perform on one of the world’s most famous hillclimbs.

While the full technical specification is extensive, the headline figures speak for themselves: over 1,100bhp, a Quaife sequential gearbox, custom chassis development, aggressive Rocket Bunny Pandem bodywork, and a setup engineered for maximum sideways commitment.

As long-term supporters of Baggsy, everyone at Samco Sport is looking forward to seeing the GR Corolla in action at Goodwood and continuing our partnership on what promises to be another landmark project.

The 1,000HP Toyota GR Corolla will make its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Baggsy will put the car through its paces in front of thousands of motorsport and performance car fans.
