Samco Sport is proud to announce a new partnership with Monster Mountain MX, becoming one of the event sponsors for the upcoming round of the ACU British Motocross Championship taking place on Sunday 14 June in Merthyr Tydfil.
Located just outside the town and set across more than 90 acres of rugged South Wales terrain, Monster Mountain MX has quickly become a major destination for riders and fans from across the UK. The venue features multiple tracks designed to challenge competitors of all abilities, while its flagship circuit has hosted several national-level events and continues to attract some of the best riders in the country.
The event forms part of the prestigious British Motocross Championship calendar, widely regarded as the UK’s premier motocross series and a key pathway for riders progressing to the international stage. The 2026 championship season includes multiple rounds across the country, with Monster Mountain scheduled to host Round 5 on 14 June.
For Samco Sport, supporting this event is particularly significant. As a company proudly rooted in South Wales, partnering with a major motorsport venue in Merthyr Tydfil reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots motorsport and the communities where racing continues to thrive. Local events like the British Motocross Championship round at Monster Mountain provide an important platform for both emerging talent and established riders, while bringing fans, teams and industry partners together in one of the most exciting environments in the sport.
Samco Sports high-performance silicone hose technology is used across multiple disciplines around the world, but maintaining strong links with domestic racing remains just as important.
Matthew Davies, Marketing Manager at Samco Sport, said, “We’re really proud to be supporting Monster Mountain MX and this year’s British Motocross Championship round. As a South Wales-based company, it’s important for us to back local events that are helping to grow the sport. Monster Mountain has quickly become one of the UK’s standout motocross venues, and we’re excited to be part of what promises to be a fantastic race weekend.”
Darren Lewis, CEO of Monster Mountain MX added “Monster Mountain has worked hard to establish itself as one of the UK’s leading motocross venues, so to be hosting a British Championship round with the backing of Samco Sport is something we’re incredibly proud of. This partnership reflects the direction we’re heading in – building bigger, better events and creating something special for the sport here in South Wales.”
With thousands of spectators expected and some of the country’s top motocross riders lining up on the gate, the Monster Mountain round of the British Motocross Championship promises to be one of the highlights of the 2026 season. Samco Sport is excited to play a part in the event and looks forward to supporting both the venue and the wider motocross community in South Wales.
